Dave just did an upgrade and you may experience a log on problem, if so, more than likely it's a "cookie" issue.

Announcement: MONEY>MONEY>MONEY>DONATIONS
Posted: Larry Jowdy @ Wed Feb 20, 2008 9:06 am
I've posted a Poll asking if you'd be willing to make a donation of $35.00 to help fund a software upgrade.

The upgrade will "hopefully" keep the hundreds of SPAMMERS from signing up and posting their crap.

I spend an average of 2 hours per day deleting their membership and deleting their posts.

Lately, as many of you have noticed, I take my computer when I go on vacation and solely pay for wireless internet access so I can keep ahead of the Spammers. I'm not asking for money to fund my wireless access, only money to upgrade the bulletin board.

$35.00 is not much money considering the amount of information that's available here in written form and, the ability to ask questions and get a plethora of opinions, optons and first hand knowledge.

As you know, this site is solely funded by Bruce Ledoux and the sale of the badges went to Bruce to help him fund the cost of the server that carries this site

If you'd be willing to make a donation, it will help to fund the software upgrade and, will make for a bette...

Announcement: Support SC Unser Brick-in-the-wall
Posted: Dave Avery @ Thu Jun 01, 2006 8:23 pm
Hey guys, this is from Natano, posting it here, anyone who is interested, please contact him via PM/email.

The Unser Racing Museum in Albuquerque has a program whereby you can purchase an engraved brick to be placed on the path at the front entrance of the museum along a path to an actual piece of the Indy Motor Speedway wall. The purchase of these bricks supports the museum, which is a non-profit organization. With a "Spyderclub.com" brick, we'll be joining the likes of Penske Racing, the Rutherfords, the Andrettis, CART, Dan Gurney, and others.

This is a really cool thing, and anyone interested in helping out with a donation (less than $10 please), here is my paypal account: nmasek(at)mrcog-nm(dot)gov (replace (at) and (dot) with @ . resp.) I'll keep everyone abreast of the donation amount and any other related issues with this. I ordered the brick tonight, and I'll call them tomorrow to see how long it takes to get the brick made and put in place and let you all know. thanks guys!
