I just received a Private Message and It deeply saddens me to announce that Lionel Warino (screen name lwarino) from New Orleans has passed away due to an auto accident. He was returning home from a car show and was driving his Spyder.
Although I never met Lionel, I did speak to him on several occasion when he was trying to make up his mind to install a Subaru engine. We had several conversations and from that, I believe he was a "regular guy" and really enjoyed his Spyder, he will be missed>>

It is with my depest regrets that I feel I need to inform you of a terrible tragedy that occurded Saturday evening.
Lionel was involved in a one car roll over on his way home from a car show and unfortunately he did not make it.
I am a very close friend of Lionel's and I know how much time he spent on this website and I figured he would want the fellow club members to know. I signed up for an account so I could let you all know.

As you know, we have a lot of new members so I'm interested in knowing if any of you have an interest in purchasing a Spyder Club car badge.
Right now, I'm just testing the water to see if any of you are interested.
I need a minimum of 40 confirmed sales to order the badges so, reply to this post and let me know how many you want
Tentative price is $49.00 per badge plus shipping

At the request of one of our members (Golde60), I have added an "Owners Registry", it is located on the main topic page just beneath the "Tips & Tricks Comment" forum
If you add your name to the appropriate topic, it will provide a list of members, their car and any modifications made.
This will also provide a database for others to use when seeking specific questions dealing with a specific brand.
Feel free to add photo's and any pertinent information that may be useful to others seeking information

Dave has been having problems with the server and believes that our system is being attacked. He's been working to solve the problemj so hang in there. I've notived Dave each time I've discovered the problem but I'm working on sketchy internet during my travels across the country.
