Rusty Tubs is advertising a 'correct fiberglass replacement clamshell' for the replica spyders.

They claim it fits any clone. Has anyone tried one of these out yet?

You've just put a big smile on my face - you have no idea how much effort has gone into getting a correct version of that rear deck lid over here - thanks for the link.

I've emailed them for some additional photos and will post them if I get a reply.

Roland....I think it might be time for your piggybank to say hello to Mr Hammer :D

Hmmmm....the site says it is a \"kit\". Wonder if it's the whole rear shell or pieces to modify your existing shell?

Looks like a whole rear decklid - $1800 would be steep for anything less

Carey

This looks like a good \"value add\" product for Newton.

Thanks,

When I see an off shore office and hear that parts are bought and paid for with months going by and no delivery, it certainly should raise some RED flags and future buyers beware!

You guys need to make this more public, turn up the heat in other forums.

Let the folks on Pelican Parts and Thesamba.com know whats up.

I'm getting a similar response from another vendor and nobody cares.

Boy do I feel helpless and stupid...

It blows when this stuff happens.

There really should be a way that payment is not made until the the product is actually picked up by the shipper. When I have had issues similar to this, my credit card company has been helpful. In one case where there was crappy work done by a mechanic and he wouldn't stand by it, the credit card company credited back my charges. I have no idea if they got the money back from the mechanic.
